Elora Health Check
Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 6, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Elora Health Check collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our public Health Check questionnaires, pending pages, results pages, and related website features.
Elora Health Check is educational. It is not a medical diagnosis, treatment plan, or replacement for advice from a qualified clinician.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to provide and improve the Health Check experience:
- Questionnaire responses. This includes the answers you submit about gut health, menstrual health, symptoms, patterns, and related health context.
- Submission and result data. We store your selected topic, questionnaire version, submission ID, submission status, timestamps, retry state, classification metadata, and matched educational result profile.
- Technical and usage data. We collect product analytics events such as questionnaire started, question answered, questionnaire completed, info card opened or closed, result viewed, and partner link viewed or clicked. These events may include session identifiers, submission IDs, topic, questionnaire version, profile key, event timing, browser or device information, IP address, and similar technical information normally sent with web requests.
- Support information. If you contact us, we may collect the information you choose to provide so we can respond.
You do not need to create an account to complete a Health Check or view your result for launch. Dormant account and authentication systems may exist in our codebase for future features, but they are not part of the public launch flow.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide the questionnaire, pending, and results experience;
- classify your answers into one of the available educational result profiles;
- operate, secure, debug, and improve Elora Health Check;
- understand product performance and launch funnel analytics;
- prevent abuse, rate-limit public endpoints, and protect service availability;
- respond to support requests; and
- comply with legal, security, or operational obligations.
We do not use your questionnaire responses to generate a bespoke medical report. The launch result page displays one matched educational profile from a fixed set of profiles.
Results links
Health Check results are private, unguessable, shareable links. Anyone with the result URL can view the non-identifying educational result profile for that submission.
Result pages do not show your name, email address, phone number, raw questionnaire answers, or other direct contact information. This makes it possible to share a result with a clinician or someone you trust. Please only share your result link with people you want to be able to view it.
If we later add raw answers, account-linked results, clinician notes, or more personalised reports to result pages, we will revisit this access model.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate and improve Elora Health Check:
- Service providers. We use trusted providers for hosting, database, processing, analytics, and infrastructure. These include Vercel, Supabase, Google Gemini API, and PostHog.
- Partner links. Some result pages include links to Yi TCM. If you click those links, you leave Elora Health Check and Yi TCM may receive information normally associated with a website visit. We do not automatically send Yi TCM your questionnaire answers or result profile.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or needed to investigate abuse, security incidents, or misuse.
- Business changes. If Elora is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell Health Check questionnaire responses.
Analytics
We use PostHog to understand whether Health Check is working well, where users get stuck, and whether public launch flows are reliable. We do not intentionally send raw questionnaire answer content to analytics.
Analytics events may include identifiers such as a PostHog distinct ID, session ID, submission ID, topic slug, questionnaire version, profile key, event timing, and product interaction details. These help us connect questionnaire completion, processing, and result viewing without requiring a user account.
Retention and deletion
We retain questionnaire submissions, result data, analytics identifiers, and operational records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Health Check, maintain result access, improve the product, prevent abuse, satisfy legal obligations, and operate the service.
Because the launch experience does not require accounts, we may need your result link, submission ID, or other information from you to locate a specific submission. You can contact us to ask about access, deletion, or correction.
Security
We use technical and operational safeguards designed to protect Health Check data, including server-side processing, rate limiting, access controls, and noindex/noarchive controls for questionnaire and result surfaces. No internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
Children
Elora Health Check is not intended for children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information through Health Check, please contact us.
International use
Elora Health Check may use service providers and infrastructure in countries other than where you live. By using Health Check, you understand that information may be processed in those locations.
Your choices
- You can choose not to submit a Health Check questionnaire.
- You can share your result link only with people you trust.
- You can use browser settings or extensions to limit some analytics or cookies.
- You can contact us to ask about access, deletion, or correction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our product, data practices, or legal obligations change. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice as appropriate.
